A project developed in Level 5, Visual Identity module, where we were to create a brand extension to an already existing brand.
Firstly, I made a research about my chosen brand to which I have written a case study document, critically evaluating the effectiveness of an existing visual identity system. Whiskas was the foundation of this project and the basis for the second stage – a brand new organisation with its own visual identity system.
Visual identity of my fictional brand unifies visual elements into a complementary system and delivers a cohesive message about the company, as the brand identity is what makes a company instantly recognisable to its customers. That identity is what forges the connection between the company and its customers, builds customer loyalty and determines how consumers perceive the brand.
